As a REALTOR I know when it comes to housing and permits there have been many situations where projects have been delayed due to the protection of endangered species that are nesting in the area. I understand that people have deadlines but they should take the natural ecosystems of that specific geographic area into consideration beforehand. The reality is that most people won't which is why we need an Act like this to protect the species that are integral to the health and balance of our natural ecosystems.
