This is totally unacceptable…

This is totally unacceptable from our government. We need you to at least move forward with the EA. That is the very least you could do to help protect our small town and its surrounding environment. The Sydenham river is very close. There are families and properties that are directly in the crosshairs of this catastrophic choice, made by people that don’t live here and either don’t care or don’t understand the consequences of this possibility. Who would want a “dump” directly in their small town? With large trucks and traffic coming through 24/7? Lowering property values and disrupting a proud, small town that only wants to live peacefully and prosperously?
Certainly not Doug Ford, I can guarantee you that.
The entire town of Dresden will be irrevocably impacted by this devastating decision. Do the EA that you promised you would do. Let us know that you actually do care about this little community.
Please don’t disregard the lives and livelihoods of the people. It is not okay…we are furious, all of Chatham Kent is furious, and we will fight with everything we’ve got, with determination and commitment to uphold our civic and fundamental rights as a community and protect ourselves from a government that seems hell bent on demolishing our way of life.
