This whole thing is absolutely appalling! I thought Canada cared about the environment??? Environmental assessments were put in place for a reason. Very valid reasons! An environmental assessment for the Dresden dump will show exactly why it is completely inappropriate to put it there!!! It is too close to the town. It is prime agricultural land. There are very valuable ecosystems existing in that area. Molly’s Creek is there. Molly’s creek runs to the Sydenham River. This will affect so many communities around this area. AND…. WE DO NOT WANT TORONTO’s GARBAGE!!!!!!!!! On top of all of this, this proposed dump could pose a huge threat to the lives of people in Dresden. There is a history of massive sink holes in the area. There is also a history of gases running under the ground. Which is again, the reason environmental assessments are required! We are asking that you all PLEASE do your jobs!! Please don’t play with other people’s lives
