If this proposed dump were 1 km from a subdivision in Oakville or Kingston, the community would be outraged—and it wouldn’t even make it past the first stage of approval. So why is Dresden, a small town, expected to bear the burden of a massive industrial site within walking distance of schools, parks, and homes?
