Dresden shouldn’t have to suffer like this, Doug Ford made a promise at the beginning of this saying that “if the people like something we do it when they don’t like something we don’t do it” well we don’t agree with this landfill project coming to Dresden, the property purchased by this Brian guy who owns York1 and his other company he’s decided to use for this project owns the properties going all the way to croton line which is right next to the town, one road away, this is an unacceptable place for this project, it’s going to affect so many people, it’s way closer than any landfill in Canadian history, it’s pretty much right on top of Dresden, previous the site was only used for organic waste and also used as a police training range, it’s not a place for Toronto waste that’s for sure! Come on guys, this is a huge mistake! The people will suffer, the wildlife in the ponds ok that property will be ruined, the aquifers underground and peoples wells will be affected by the liquid waste disposal, the creek right next to the site, huge mistake to choose this site. It’s time for York1 owners and Doug Ford to find somewhere else for the trash.
