I am strongly opposed to removing Environmental Assessment requirements for this project. As a farmer on well water, I’m terrified of what this could mean for my family, my health, and my land. We are sitting on an aquifer and the Molly Creek watershed—this is our drinking water. A dump here puts all of that at risk.

I fear this won’t stop at construction waste; it could become a full-fledged dump. I’ve fought hard to protect my farm and don't want to see it destroyed. The traffic coming down in the area is a big concern, 700 trucks a day is a lot of trucks, they could take shortcuts that put our community at risk. With farm equipment on the roads, they deserve to be kept safe.
