Hello,

I think this dump would be a terrible idea. The town of Dresden is a wonderful community.
The smell of a dump would ruin the town and all the residence of the entire town would pay the price for this. The entire town would get sick and nauseated 24/7 from the smell of this dump.

The Sydenham River system would also pay the price for this dump. It is vulnerable to spillage and seepage from runoff during heavy rains .
There are countless endangered species in the sydenham water system that would pay the price and potentially go extinct from spills and seepage from the dump.

Who will pay for the road damage from the 24/7 heavy trucks hauling garbage?

Any politician or government authority should think twice about allowing this dump . How would they feel if we opened a dump 1-2km from their houses.

Ontario is suppose to be a clean and environmentally friendly province and we are going to open a dump beside a town and basically on top of a major water shed and on top of the Sydenham River and upstream from Walpole Island ????

I think it is safe to say this is a terrible idea and there are much better places to put a dump !
