I understand that more housing is needed but absolutely not at the expense of destroying habitat for endangered species or species at risk. There are lots of places to build that would not affect such habitats. These poor creatures don't have a voice. We must advocate for them, they have as much right to be here as we do and we need to respect that. We are already destroying the planet, they have their place in the ecosystem for a reason and even if we can't see the big picture it's there. Please protect these species and do not allow their dwindling habitat to be erased. Urban spawn must stop, cities need to look within to find more space.
