This is another attempt by Doug Ford to circumvent environmental protection acts, that are in place for at risk and endangered species like migratory birds, to re-zone green space, forest & farming land for profit. The government should not have full discretion on being the final say when it comes to whether they deem an animal species worthy of protection. The government exists to serve all tax payers, not just corporate tax payers. This is supposed to be a democracy and therefor the power should not just be left for the government to decide what species are worthy of protection, especially when they have a corporate biased interest.
