I fully and completely disagree with this bill as it allows development on protected land, reduces the ability to protect endangered species and is a cash grab for friends of the government.
This bill will directly do damage to the environment. It will allow developers to build before doing proper and thorough environmental assessments.
In its current form is a threat to First Nations communities, by excluding them from participating in projects that will affect their land, water and livelihood.
This governments complete disregard for the environmental impact it has, the treaties with First Nations is appalling.
I am calling for a full repeal of Bill 5.
