If you want to speed up environmental assessments, improve government processes that take too long in the first place. Bill 5 is not the correct response to the problem they have identified in the summary of this bill because it changes environmental law and not the actual process of applying that law in reality. As an Ontarian, I absolutely do not want the elected government to pass this bill in any form, whether partial or complete.
