A concern I have which is…

A concern I have which is one of many that have already been discussed:
- Safety is a big concern for agricultural equipment using the same roads Spring and Fall.
- There are two schools that bus students to. The buses also drive students to other local schools such as Wallaceburg, Chatham and Paincourt depending on their curriculums.
- Safety for students walking and crossing the main highway that goes through the Town of Dresden.

In an addition to weight concerns, why does it make sense to drive 3.5 hours to Dresden and 3.5 hours back to Toronto times 700 trucks.
A few years ago, I remember there was a concern to end drive-through pickup windows at fast food establishments for coffee and/or food because of the pollution factor of cars waiting in line.
That small concern does not even compare to the 700 trucks travelling 3.5 hours back and forth each way to Toronto. Not only is their air pollution from exhausts but garbage such as asbestos fibres floating off the truck load and who knows, what else!

There are a few countries have devised a way to burn their garbage safely and use the energy created from it, why can't Ontario or Canada do the same. I realize you can't burn cement and other building materials but maybe it is time to be serious about sorting and recycling materials and use it according to how it was re-manufactured for another use.
I also realize it all takes money to change how we handle garbage but there is all kinds of money being spent to buy valuable, rich agricultural land for dumps, legal fees, trucks and trucking fees, fuel, road and bridge repairs, especially to drive that many trucks for at least 7 hours per day.

Keep the rich, agricultural land to grow food and to protect ALL water sources. Food and Water are so important for us to protect !

I do not agree with the Dump being pushed next to Dresden's doorstep.
A Full Environmental Assessment should continue!
There are so many factors that would show the Dresden's location is not to a wise choice !
We need to Protect and Not Destroy all our Assets.
Once the damage is done, there is usually no return!
