Comment regarding removal of Environmental Approval on Proposed Dresden Landfill by York1

this proposed landfill has been dormant for decades and not in a suitable location so close to the town of Dresden and Molly's Creek. Landfill has been dormant for these reasons, not suitable for ANY further use. Contamination has already been found in Molly's Creek, potentially affecting drinking water and aquatic animals,
Further, there has been no studies conducted as to how rural infrastructure can support the amount of trucks that have been proposed. Our infrastructure is already barely coping, and cannot handle this type of increased traffic. Does not matter where of how trucks arrive or depart from the proposed site, existing roads cannot handle this traffic.
there are multiple other options that are much closer to urban centres that should be examined FIRST before using this Dresden site.
We need to protect our nature resources, not abuse them as is will most certainly happen if this project proceeds.
