We were promised an environmental assessment last year and the government should not go back on its word. We need to make sure this project is safe for the surrounding community and environment. This dump York1 wants to open is way to close to a town and we have to make sure we take the proper steps to insure everyone's safety. Ford is panicking because of Trump and in the process, he is hurting the people and environment he is supposed to protect. There has to be better sites out there in Ontario that are not so close to a town, like Dresden. This is ethically wrong and Ford needs to uphold it's promise to Dresden and allow this EA to go through.
