I do not want to see land…

I do not want to see land development go unchecked at the expense of harm to protected species or environmentally sensitive ecosystems. Our planet is in a crisis and we need to have an eye on it's future health in order to ensure humanity can be sustained by it.
We have plenty of historical evidence that affirms that when industry is unchecked or permitted to police itself, there is always a human price that is paid down the line. I would hope we would not foolishly believe this time would be any different.
