The new "definition" of habitat is deliberately vague and does not align with any of the long established scientific definitions of habitat. It ignores the importance of the surrounding landscape for sustaining life.
One of the most important and distinguishing features of Ontario is the quality and abundance of its nature. Without sufficient protections, we will lose this valuable part of our heritage forever.
