My very young nephews live…

My very young nephews live just outside Dresden along with my brother and his wife, their property backs onto the Sydenham River. This proposed dump and the foregoing of the environmental assessment of such a project would impact them in such negative ways. They fish there, they explore there, they live their lives there just like so many other families do. All the farms that are nourished by that river, all the endangered species that call that river their homes could be wiped out over what? Profits before people? This is a disgusting abuse of power with no regard for the environment and no thought of future generations. This proposal has no business even existing, let alone being passed. The community has spoken, the families with loved ones there have spoken, and if this is passed, the environment will speak.
