I am submitting this comment to state that I oppose Bill 5. I believe Canada's natural wildlife and ecosystems are a cornerstone in our nation's prosperity and therefore should be respected. The current permit application process was designed purposefully to protect native wildlife and simplifying for the sake of convenience will allow irreversible damage to vital ecosystems. I oppose short cuts for industry with no public oversight. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
