Hello,

It is incredible to learn how such sweeping legislation can be unleashed on a province that deserves a balance between development and protection. I am concerned about Bill 5 in regards to the removal of protections under Ontario’s endangered species legislation. Maintaining the permitting process is supposed to safeguard vulnerable ecosystems. Also, "Special Economic Zones" is not clear to me in terms of the consultation processes and considerations for Indigenous communities across the province.

Please make revisions to the Bill before it proceeds.
