The greenbelt has been a staple of Ontario's culture since it's establishment. Why ruin our natural spaces? The only people who benefit from it's destruction are the ones that won't feel it's loss. No Developer will care about the harmful ecological and social impacts felt from this loss. Because it's not their resource to lose. It's the locals. Ontario citizens. Yet, this plan is built for the developers, not Ontarians. Doug Ford is responsible and accountable to Ontarians not developers. Someone should remind him of that.
