The main two things that stand out to me on this proposal is that it’s the governments final say in what species are added or removed to the endangered species act. Which is null and voids any protections in the first place.
The second is that the proposed development is able to get started before the environmental assessment is done or while it’s being done? This again sounds like there really is no protection in the first place.
