The global financial cost of biodiversity loss is significant, with estimates ranging from $5 trillion to $25 trillion annually. This loss is due to a variety of factors, including the decline in ecosystem services like pollination, water filtration, and carbon storage. Inaction on biodiversity loss could cost the global economy between $10 trillion and $25 trillion annually.

Here in Ontario, we know that developers and governments have very little vision for a sustainable future and want to destroy the prosperity of our future generations for the benefit of their pockets today. These policies are the only things keeps our vulnerable areas away from the greedy industries.
