This proposal is shocking and dismaying. While we clearly need to support our local economy and address the housing shortage, to do so at the expense of the environmental protections that have helped stave off crisis to the recent past is so myopic and self defeating I cannot believe in 2025 people are still suggesting this in Canada. For the love of our homeland, do not repeal environmental protections amid an environmental crisis.
