Unleashing the economy? The phrasing suggests freedom, but in reality, we know this will mean unchecked development. The Ford government has shown time and time again that their priority is ignoring the good of Ontario in order to line the pockets of developers. The proposed shift in approach will lead to vast consequences for our ecosystems and biodiversity, and could mean the end of vital protections for endanger species and Indigenous rights.

We want more housing and better infrastructure, but not at the cost of the environment. I urge you to not pass these changes, and to pursue other avenues to stimulate the economy and address the housing shortage.
