This proposal is incredibly cruel. It suggests removing a lot of protections for the habitat of rare and endangered plants and animals. We can not de extinct animals and put them in zoos. Habitat loss is forever.

When their habitat is destroyed, people think of the animals as vermin and kill them. Housing is necessary, but not by destroying nature. People and animals need natural areas for good mental and physical health.

The rights of the endangered animals, and their animal neighbours, are important and should not be destroyed. I oppose this bill.
