I do not support this proposal !

Requiring use of Ontario renewable content be a part of diesel will not make the diesel more environmentally friendly and it will make the fuel more expensive- as most diesel is used in trucks and heavy equipment this will add expenses to already fiscally challenged enterprises .

This legislation will also be another instance of fiscal reward too specific sectors at the expense of other sectors - with no real envirinmental benefit. The exact nature of the renewable content “must come from Ontario” is the clear evidence this is not about cleaner diesel - if it’s about the environment then why is it Ontario not Canadian or simply a mandate Diesel in Ontario needs to be e.g. 10% plant based Bio fuel ?
