I am writing to formally object the proposed construction of two 38-storey towers adjacent to the present 11-storey senior's life lease building. As one of the many buyers of the senior's life lease unit, I was never informed by the developer about such high density second phase when I bought my unit. Had I been aware, I would not have invested in this property.
The proposed project will severely impact my living environment through:
-Excessive shadowing and loss of privacy.
-Increased noise, traffic, and air pollution.
-Overburdened infrastructure in the original site area which was not planned for such a congested population.
-Potential devaluation of existing properties.
-Putting such huge number of Seniors living together will increase the high pressure of providing the necessary supporting services to fulfill the needs of residents at the same time.
I request a full halt from approving such a revised proposal from Mon Sheong Foundation.
