I want more, not less, management of "flexible" plastic packaging (like food wrap, pouches and bags). Do not reduce the recovery target of 25%, increase it to 95%. This will send appropriate signals to manufacturers to eliminate this packaging.

Extend recycling to schools, multi-unit residential buildings, long-term care and retirement homes - without qualifiers. Plastic packaging manufacturers committed to pay for this in 2021, and this commitment must be upheld.

Beverage producers must be responsible to pick up beverage containers consumed "away from home" e.g. from parks and mall bins. This should not be born by tax payers.

Do not allow the burning of plastics, otherwise called "energy Recovery" to count as part of "4 Rs, e.g. recovery. Burning plastics is another form of fossil fuel misuse. These fuels should stay in the ground and not contribute to global climate change and air pollution.
