My family has owned a cottage at Wasaga Beach since I was a child. The public park land is utilized by everyone. There are tons of people using the beach and the public park land. Our beach and public park land is used to the max, it’s busier than ever. The beach has never been busier! I can’t find a bench to sit at with my family. If anything we need more public land, not less.
Can’t we have some connection to nature? I love the parks and trees. We don’t want to have an Ontario Place style Public land grab for private companies. Keep our wildlife safe!!! Keep our trees, it’s our place to find shade and cool down.
Selling our public park land isn’t the answer to anything. Doug Ford is already developing beach one. Leave OUR ONTARIO PUBLIC LAND alone!!! This obscene power grab is awful. I bet wherever his cottage is will stay beautiful & wild it WONT GET DEVELOPPED LIKE THIS.
My Parents don’t have a lot of money, or a retirement fund. This is our small oasis, how dare you!
This Bill 5 public land snatch and grab, won’t be tolerated!!!
