Ontario's public land is one of the greatest resources in the world. To waste it on single purchase wealthy developers does a serious injustice to all Ontarians not profiting off this private land grab.
After the Ontario Place fiasco, and the Greenbelt disaster, has this government learned nothing? We have an abundance of privately available land, but developers are unwilling to make housing affordable, so the more land you give them the less there is for all Ontarians.
Sent with perpetual disappointment and disgust at the selfish and short-sighted provincial government that would rather waste taxpayer dollars in court fighting legislation than spend them on public services the citizens of this province desperately need that have already been horrifically cut and sold off by this same government.
