Provincial parks are…

Provincial parks are important for tourism and should be valued. Passive recreation and outdoor recreation are necessary at different stages of aging. Parks are also environmental ecosystems - connected to air and water quality.

Wildlife (endangered or not) also have rights.
The sand dunes provide habitat not found in other parks.

Humans require a natural world too!

If the solution to remove parts of provincial parks is to improve tourism - then provincial parks require more funding. There is always a link between tourists visiting and spending money when they come.

Back to outdoor recreation! The value of visiting a beach supports humans mental and physical health (put a $ amount on that). Prevention as well as physical opportunities (swimming, walking, observing, spiritual). Indigenous stewardship as a model would be a better guideline - looking after for 7 generations (not for immediate gratification- ie tourism)

All parks should be part of planning and remain part of the nature heritage/assets for now and future generations.
As our population increases and ages parks are necessary! Ensuring that provincial parks are part of planning now and more for future (not less).
