We do not support the sale of 60% of our land on Wasaga's beachfront to private developers.
This land belongs to the people of Ontario and should not be privatized for the benefit of a small group of people.
Instead, the land behind the beach could be sold and the beach itself could remain public park land, which would supply the private land owners behind the beach with a steady stream of tourists.
There is no need to sell off the actual beach to promote tourism.
Do the right thing and support Ontario's right to recreate on our own land.
