I’m writing to express my opposition to the proposed sale and development of public land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.

Far too often the Provincial Conservative government is taking action to sell off public land to private developers who destroy the delicate ecosystems present. Provincial parks are meant to protect nature, support biodiversity, and provide accessible green space for everyone, not to be sold off for private profit.

I urge the Ontario government to keep Wasaga Beach public, protected, and undeveloped. And please stop attacking our natural spaces and instead try enjoying them rather than creating more concrete jungle like the undesirable Toronto.
