I’m writing to express my opposition to the proposed sale and development of public land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.

Provincial parks are meant to protect nature, support biodiversity, and provide accessible green space for everyone, not to be sold off for private profit.

I urge the Ontario government to keep Wasaga Beach public, protected, and undeveloped. I also do not trust the regions or city councils of these smaller towns to do what is best for the public. Many of these city council members are quite old and own multiple properties and have outdoor space of their own. The value of low cost public spaces is lost on them.
