The Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is where I’ve spent some of the fondest memories of my life. These cherished times would not have been possible but for the land preservation brought by the park’s status. The proposed removal of nearly 60% of the beachfront of our provinces gem will erase access to areas that rightly belong to all Ontarioans. Moreover, these lands will lose much of their protections, regular maintenance, and management brought by the parks service. My family and I are completely opposed to this proposal and the reduction of Ontario Parks ownership or control of beachfront lands do any degree.
