As a resident of Ontario, I DO NOT agree with selling of provincial park land to some slimey, rich, and probably foreign developers. You’re taking public space away from residents and tourists to line your own pockets. Disgusting! There is more to life than money, like preserving our public spaces. DO NOT do this! What a complete slap in the face your tax base.
Turning public beach into private beach does not enhance tourism in the slightest if no one except the wealthy elite can access it, it will do the exact opposite. You should be creating more park space, NOT selling it off to the highest bidder.
Shame on Doug Ford and shame on our provincial government for even proposing and entertaining this change.
Disgusting.
