I have spent many years enjoying the beauty, tranquility of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. The last few years have seen condos built directly across from the Park ( the latest build at New Beach ) which never should have been approved. Now the proposed amendment to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006, and Historical Parks Act to support the Town of Wasaga Tourism Enhancement Proposal - posted June 27, 2025 ERO 025-0694 to allow the sale/transfer of conservation land goes against protecting Our Parks from irreversible environmental damages and change the landscape of it's natural beauty. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park should be Protected and kept as a sanctuary for wildlife and for future generations to enjoy as a Park in it's natural setting. Canadians/Ontarians are so fortunate to have this and it should be protected and perserved.
