I am vehemently against the government selling beaches one and two for profit & tourism at Wasaga Beach.
In doing this they will destroy the habitat in which the endangered Piping Plovers birds use for nesting. Plovers rely on the dunes and marram to build their nests amongst and protect themselves from predators.

Within the last 30 years, their populations have increased from a mere dozen to 76 breeding pairs! Birds Canada has stated if we can increase their populations to 150 breeding pairs, Piping Plovers will be stable! This is a more than achievable goal that we are close to making!!

Doni protest, don't let Wasaga Beach lose their protection over these birds .
