I am so disheartened that this site for the Piping Plover is being put in such a perilous situation. This is a bird that is endangered but unless protection is there it will be gone from the Great Lakes, Canada and the world. Money is always a political draw. Without the legislation and protective acts once again a part of our earth will vanish. Think of what the situation will mean. Keep the part of the Wasaga Beach that is necessary for this bird's survival under permanent protection. This is a draw for birders, tourists
and the general public. It does have some monetary impact for the area by these visitors. Only you can make this happen.
