This is a terrible, short-sighted decision that is not in the best interests of Ontario citizens. Provincial Parks are public goods that preserve access to water and land recreational spaces for citizens for the short- and long-term future, and also help ensure spaces for wildlife. Selling this land to private interests is a horrific precedent and needs must not happen. Even contemplating this speaks to a fundamental disregard for Ontario citizens and our access to green spaces.
