Please APPROVE this MZO request. The existing site has been vacant for so long and needs to be advanced. CN Rail is being unreasonable with their complaints. The developer has already been accommodating and adjusted the design to block more noise. We desperately need this mix of market and affordable housing in our downtown and the densification it will provide will further support other public investments happening in Hamilton like the LRT, new arena and waterfront redevelopment. The construction jobs are also needed. The MZO should allow the developer to immediately get the building permits it needs to start building.
