Any Species Conservation Act…

Any Species Conservation Act that ceases to recognize 106 at risk species cannot also claim to be "maintaining strong environmental safeguards". This is political double speak, an excuse for forging ahead with development at the expense of the natural world. As a biologist I know that we are part of nature and dependent on the rich diversity of life around us. If we continue to ignore this fundamental fact we will, ultimately, put our own species at risk.
