Privatizing water purification and distribution makes no sense, and is a bad idea for the consumer. Ontarians (and Peel residents) trust municipalities to run their water purification services, and no one wants their water quality to be sacrificed on the altar of shareholder value.
The province should allow Peel Region to continue as a water utility.
