At one time, there were so many passenger pigeons flying across the sky that they seemed like dark clouds trapping the light. Then they were hunted into extinction. We need to do everything we can to protect our local species. I oppose this hunting season. Animal populations grow and decrease along with their predators and prey. Don't shoot them.
