I'm very much opposed to Bill 66 and anything that would remove or reduce legislation that exists to protect drinking water supplies, farm land or the Greenbelt. I remember only too well the crisis created in Walkerton when the Mike Harris government cut back on government oversight and the town's drinking water was contaminated. The eerie sound of helicopters flying overhead carrying sick people to larger hospitals remains fixed in my memory. I will never forget, nor should provincial legislators.
