I do not support the proposed Bill 60 as it is an overreach by the province on municipal decision-making and will not achieve what it claims to do. This proposed bill will make roads less safe or all types of users and will increase congestion.
I would like my city to be able to expand bike lane access so that me and my family can feel safe biking to work, to run errands or just for leisure. Instead this proposed bill will make that impossible. Instead I will need to continue using a vehicle and add to congestion.
Please do not move forward with the proposed Bill 60.
