We are in an environmental crisis, it is vehemently irresponsible to remove legislation protecting endangered species. The federal government has already demonstrated it's lack of action towards protecting green spaces and it cannot be trusted to ensure the protection of these species. We are a product of our environment, we must maintain the integrity of any nature that is still here. These animals are a part of an ecosystem and ensure it continued health -- we are a part of this ecosystem.

I STRONGLY OPPOSE this amendment. "Building a more competitive economy" will mean nothing if we don't have a planet to spend the money on.

Think of the future generations to come. How will you feel explaining to your grandchildren that you allowed 106 species to parish just so you could line your pockets?
