I oppose these changes, am in favour of repealing bill 5, and for restoring protections for nature. The endangered species list should not be cut from 271 to 169 just because those species are protected federally. This is not a justifiable reason for them to be removed from provincial protections. Removing protections from any species puts not only them at risk, but us as well. Restoring protections for nature ultimately protects us and our future, as keeping biodiverse ecosystems intact helps humans stay healthy as well.
