I understand the need to reduce/remove grid locks. I'm not sure I understand how transferring the jurisdiction of currently shared amenities to lower tier municipalities will achieve that. And would that public corporation be the equivalent of what Peel Region W/WW division is?
Why not improve on the processes and remove red tapes instead of re-inventing the wheel? There's already an organization with the knowledge and experiences, why not improving on what is already in place, reduce the bureaucratie and give the municipalities the power they need for the planning of their needs while working with the Region
