Hello, I am very happy that our new government is taking initiatives to create a competitive work environment and reduce our debt. However, I fear that this may happen at the expense of the environment. To me, the environment is our #1 priority, even more so than jobs. I'm sure my sentiment is shared among many Canadians. What concerns me is that municipalities will be able to approve development plans that can have a significant impact on the environment without consulting the people first, under this new bill. Please, do not allow this to happen. Let's keep the environment, including our trees and water, a top priority so Ontario can stay clean, sustainable and beautiful, going into the future.
